More new forms

Made in the past few days, now drying:

The closed form at the front was thrown and then carved, the two at the back were part thrown, part coiled. I intend to develop some new matte ash glazes for these pieces.

  1. Lovely forms, Mark. Matte ash sounds perfect, too. I was reading an older post about your gas kiln and results. I get excited when such a simple experience and kiln ends with such gems. You have inspired me!

    1. Thank you, Charlene. Glad you enjoyed the gas kiln post, I find it exciting too, that I can build an experimental kiln in a day..my only problem is having a couple of fine days to do it outdoors!

    1. Thank you, Midori, I always think raw clay looks nice in B&W, especially when it's fresh on the wheel :)
